This notice should describe the technologies actually used on the live NextBuyer website. It must be reviewed whenever analytics, advertising or embedded third-party services are added.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software-development tools that store or access information on a device.
How NextBuyer uses them
NextBuyer may use:
- Strictly necessary technologies for security, page operation, form submission, account login and remembering privacy choices.
- Preference technologies to remember optional settings.
- Analytics technologies to understand how visitors use the website and improve it.
- Marketing technologies to measure campaigns or personalise advertising.
Non-essential analytics, preference or marketing technologies will not be activated until you have made an affirmative choice where consent is required.
Current website position
The public landing page should operate with strictly necessary technologies only unless the cookie banner or preference centre clearly offers additional categories. Before publishing analytics, advertising pixels, embedded media or session-recording tools, the live cookie table and consent controls must be updated.
Managing your choices
When a cookie banner is displayed, you can accept or reject non-essential categories and later change your choice through the “Cookie Preferences” link in the website footer.
You can also use browser controls to delete or block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent parts of the website or an account from working correctly.
Third-party content
Embedded video, maps, social-media features, payment tools and other third-party content may set their own technologies. Where these are non-essential, they should remain blocked until the relevant consent is given. The third party’s own privacy and cookie information will also apply.
How long technologies last
Some technologies expire when you close the browser; others remain for a defined period. The live preference centre or cookie table should identify the provider, purpose and duration of each non-essential technology actually used on the deployed website.
